Allow me to introduce Lydia Tony and Sandra Naguib, my new masters level counselling interns. They provide low cost or highly reduced fee counselling under my supervision at Meadowbrook Counselling Associates. Lydia is available Wednesdays-Saturdays during the daytime and evening hours, for in-person and virtual sessions.

Meet Lydia! Lydia is warm and welcoming, an empathic listener who understands how to hold space for her clients as they process the difficult things of life. She is eager to work with a wide range of issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and relational and daily stressors.
Lydia holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a focus on Biomedical Sciences from York University and is in the process of completing a Master of Divinity in Clinical Counselling from Tyndale University.
Her experience as an inpatient Unit Clerk developed her capacity as an attentive and empathetic listener serving diverse populations. Lydia’s leadership roles in church music, children’s, and youth ministry similarly helped her find her passion for walking with people through their struggles. These experiences led her to pursue further education in psychotherapy to collaborate with clients through
their challenges, and towards greater mental and emotional wellbeing.
Lydia has a family systems framework and draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in her therapeutic approach. She takes a stance of non-judgment and humility, as well as a client-centered approach to care.
In her spare time, Lydia enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, singing, and playing board games.
