Meet Sandra! Sandra is a natural inquirer, asker of great questions and incredibly skilled at creating a nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their values and beliefs, while gaining support as they navigate through suffering and struggle. Her guiding principle in work and life is allowing clients “come
as they are.”
Sandra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Niagara University. Sandra is a compassionate, calm, and approachable individual who is passionate about supporting others through their challenges and in gaining deeper self-understanding. Having lived between Canada and Egypt, she brings a unique, multicultural perspective that informs her inclusive and culturally sensitive approach to therapy.
Sandra has experience working with children with Autism and special needs, as well as providing online support through an anonymous mental health chat service in both English and Arabic. Her background includes various volunteer roles, including leading art programs for children with special needs, community involvement at her church, and supporting underprivileged communities in her hometown. These experiences have shaped her belief in meeting people where they are and walking alongside them in their healing journey.
